How The Self-Love Journal Transformed My Life

I can remember the exact day I first looked in the mirror and thought, “gosh, you look old.”

I haven't had any work done, and it shows... I can see the beginning lines for what will inevitably be deep wrinkles on my face...

When I was younger it was acne that plagued me... or my fluctuating weight...

Now it's a fear of the future...

This is why I didn’t keep up with exercising, or eating the way I was supposed to. In my mind, I was so far from “loveable” already, what does it matter if every meal was a “cheat meal”, or if I couldn’t remember the last time I did something active.

I burst into tears.. I was on my way to bury my aunt, and something clicked.. I wasn’t extremely sad about her passing, but it occurred to me that she definitely wasn’t a positive person and she wasn’t very healthy. In that moment I started to see how my current path in life could lead me to become her, and that made me want to jump out of my seat.

I realized in that moment that I wasn’t treating myself the way I deserved to be treated. I needed to make a change, I didn’t know where to start, and I needed some help.
